Open-Source

What is Open-Source?

Open Source as the name suggest whose source code is openly available for all.

Open source is a term that originally referred to open source software (OSS). Open source software is code that is designed to be publicly accessible—anyone can see, modify, and distribute the code as they see fit.

Let's try to understand it with an example:

So it mean that its source code is available to everyone so if any bug/issue came in VLC media player then anyone with the code can fix it and upload the code to the same source. So it increases its flexibility and availability of that application/software.
